Club Penguin Android App Coming Out Next Month!

Hello penguins!
Polo Field has just announced that the Club Penguin App for Android will release this December! (Next month). So yes, they’re working on it. Lots of mini games will be added too.
Hello Penguins!
Shoutout to all you CP players with Android™ devices for all your patience and feedback. You asked, and we listened! The Club Penguin app will be available on the Google Play™ store this December 2014!
Here’s a sneak peek:

Here’s the plan. We’re starting with the main Club Penguin app on Android first. The app will have ALL of these amazing CP mini-games included:
 * Sushi Drop
 * Ice Fishing
 * Bean Counters
 * Smoothie Smash
 * Pufflescape
 * Puffle Rescue
 * Jetpack Boost
 * Pizzatron 3000
 * Puffle Roundup
Of course, you’ll also be able to change your penguin’s outfit, decorate your igloo, and chat with friends around the world. This is a HUGE app, and we’re so excited to share it with you!
Once this main Club Penguin app is out, we plan to bring as much of the Club Penguin experience to Android as possible. We’ll be working on other CP apps for Android in 2015. 🙂
What CP mini-games would you like to see on Android in the future? Let us know in the comments below!
Until then… Waddle on!

Club Penguin Special Message From Billybob & Happy77

I’ve got some good news and some bad news. Lets start with the bad news first.

The bad news is that Lane Merrifield (Billybob) and Holly (Happy77) are leaving Club Penguin for good! After 7 long years, Lane and Holly decided to finally quit the Club Penguin Team and work on new projects just like Lance (Rsnail) and Screenhog (Chris). I cannot believe that Lane and Holly are quitting Club Penguin after 7 years! Anyways, this is what Happy77 said:

Greetings Penguins!

Happy77 here. It’s almost Club Penguin’s anniversary. Hard to believe that Club Penguin is almost 7 years old already!

I’m writing this post to let you know that I’ll also be moving on from Club Penguin. I’ll be spending my time raising my children. Who knows? Maybe one day my kids will grow up to be bloggers, too. 🙂

I’ve had an amazing time here at Club Penguin. Like Billybob, you’re the reason I’ve done this for so long. Polo Field and Businesmoose have been helping me since I first started blogging in 2008, so I know you’re in good hands.

Thanks for being so supportive, and for the great memories.

And as always…

Waddle On! 🙂

-Club Penguin Team

It is very sweet of Happy77 to stay at home and raise her children.

Here’s what Billybob said:

Hello Penguins!

I hope you’re all as excited about the Halloween Party as I am.  The office is buzzing today, it’s going to be amazing!

I wanted to make sure you heard it directly from me, after 7 incredible years at Club Penguin, I’m going to be moving on.  I’ll be around for the next few months to make sure everything is all good.  Then I’ll be focusing on building some cool stuff for schools.  I hope I’m able to help with learning the same way I have been able to help build Club Penguin.

I have had such an incredible time being a part of Club Penguin over the years and serving you guys everyday.  The Club Penguin Team is better than ever, and the plans we’ve made for the next year are awesome!  My friends Polo Field and Businesmoose will keep you updated with all the latest behind-the-scenes updates here on the blog. Even though I won’t be working at Club Penguin anymore, I’ll still be around and logging on to hang out.

You are the reason I’ve done this for so long and I am so thankful you’ve let me be a part of your lives.  You are what makes Club Penguin special.  Never forget that.

Until then… Waddle on!

– Lane (aka Billybob)

It is very disappointing. I never expected this to come soon but what do you know? It did! As Billybob said, he will be visiting Club Penguin sometimes to hang out! That cheered me up at least.

Now for the good news!

You may have noticed what the good news is as you read what Billybob and Happy77 said in the third paragraph. Yes, that’s right, Polo Field and Businesmoose will take over and be the main persons in charge! As Happy77 said as stated above, “Polo Field and Businesmoose have been helping me since I first started blogging in 2008” which I think that’s very nice of them and will surely do a better job in improving Club Penguin.

What are your thoughts on Billybob and Happy77 leaving? I know its very sad and disappointing but do you think that Polo Field and Businesmoose will do a better job? Let me know your thoughts with a comment.

We loved your igloo nominations from the last Featured Igloospost! Here are a few of our favorites to check out for some decorating inspiration:

Kc Floppy nominated their friend Zekev. They’ve got an igloo fit for royalty, and I’m loving the pumpkin patch!

Bubbles45932 nominated Redfish2123‘s igloo. Looks like an epic place to have a party, don’t you think?!

You’ve probably seen some pretty sweet igloos around the island lately, with the Igloo Contest and the upcoming Adventure Party! If you think someone’s igloo should be featured, let us know the penguin name. We’ll choose a few to feature again soon, so stay tuned..

How wonderful the featured igloos are, don’t you think? I really liked all of them especially the first one! Zekev’s igloo looks very realistic and well designed. Which one is your favorite? Let me know you answer with a comment – we’d love to hear what you think.
